SHEPHERDSTOWN WEST VIRGINIA, Police in Shepherdstown are investigating a shooting that took place early Friday morning, leaving one person in critical condition.
According to law enforcement officials, officers responded to reports of gunfire along University Drive during the early morning hours. When they arrived at the scene, they found an individual with a gunshot injury.
Emergency medical personnel administered treatment at the location before transporting the victim to a nearby hospital. The individual remains listed in critical condition. Authorities have not released the person’s identity.
