Jasmine Blake Identified as Suspect in Walnut Cincinnati Death of Diamond RedNose Rice

CINCINNATI, A homicide investigator wrote in Jasmine Blake’s criminal complaint that she was charged based on the investigation, “which includes evidence at the crime scene, statements made by the defendant during 911 calls and other witness accounts (which show) that Jasmine Blake used a handgun to shoot Diamond Rice during an argument, causing her death.”
One woman is dead, and another has been charged with murder in connection with a Walnut Hills shooting late Sunday, according to court records.
Cincinnati police responded to a report of gunfire shortly after 10 p.m. in the 2300 block of May Street.
Officers said they found the victim, Diamond Rice, 33, suffering from a gunshot wound. Life-saving measures were attempted, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
