M74 Motorway Closed After Jumper Dies Between Kingston and Polmadie Junctions

GLASGOW, Law enforcement responded to a tragic incident on the M74 on Saturday evening after a person reportedly jumped from the motorway near Junction 1. Emergency services, including multiple police units, ambulances, and paramedics, were on scene along the hard shoulder.
The incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., causing a complete standstill in traffic. As of 7:17 p.m., the motorway remained closed between J1 Kingston and J1A Polmadie due to the ongoing police operation.
