Lindsey Parke and Alexa Duryea Identified as Victims in Fatal Hicksville BMW Crash

HICKSVILLE NEW YORK, two 19-year-old women from Levittown, Lindsey Parke and Alexa Duryea, were killed late Friday night after a BMW crashed into a tree and then slammed into a building, according to authorities.
The fatal crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23, along Old Country Road near Sterling Place. Investigators said a 23-year-old man driving a white 2026 BMW was traveling westbound when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed into oncoming traffic, struck a tree, and then continued into a nearby building.
Parke and Duryea, who were passengers in the vehicle, suffered severe traumatic injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed both victims were residents of Levittown.
The driver was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. Authorities said no charges have been announced at this time, and the investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
As family and friends grieve the sudden loss, loved ones have begun sharing tributes online. In a Facebook post, Parke’s brother wrote that “heaven has gained the strongest guardian angel,” expressing the depth of grief felt by those closest to her.
Funeral arrangements have since been announced for Lindsey Parke. Wake services will be held at Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, located at 2786 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown, on Wednesday, January 28. Visiting hours are scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Additional details about the lives of Parke and Duryea have not yet been released.
Police said the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is continuing.
