Oklahoma Teen Arrested After Fatal Stabbing of Brother Following Dispute

OKLAHOMA CITY, An Oklahoma City teen allegedly stabbed his older brother to death after becoming enraged during a video game argument at their home over the weekend.
According to police, William Spencer, 19, called 911 on Sunday night and told authorities that he had stabbed his 25-year-old brother, Nicholas Spencer, after the two became involved in an argument while playing video games.
Officers with the Oklahoma City Police Department responded to a report of a domestic stabbing near Southeast 44th Street and South Bryant Avenue. When they arrived, they found Nicholas Spencer suffering from serious stab wounds, according to KFOR.
Paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the outlet reported.
Police said William Spencer remained at the scene and was taken into custody. During questioning, investigators said he confessed to stabbing his brother. He was subsequently booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
“Very tragic story,” Master Sgt. Gary Knight said during a news conference, according to Law & Crime. “Two brothers who were playing video games. One became enraged over the game, got mad at the other and simply stabbed him to death.”
William Spencer has since been booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
