PORT HURON MICHIGAN, Police are responding to an active and rapidly developing shooting incident Thursday night that has led to a large multi-agency law enforcement response and a shelter-in-place order for nearby residents.

According to the Port Huron Police Department, officers were initially dispatched to a disorderly conduct complaint in the 3000 block of 26th Street, between Nern Street and Manuel Street. As officers arrived in the area, police said shots were fired.
