Ahmad Jihad Bojeh Arrested in Kissimmee Tourist Triple Murder Case

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. Law enforcement officials have charged Ahmad Jihad Bojeh, 29, in connection with the fatal shooting of three men outside a vacation rental property near Kissimmee, Florida, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident took place on Saturday in a residential area of Osceola County.
Investigators said the three victims, who included two brothers and their longtime friend, were visiting Florida and staying at a nearby short-term rental home.
Authorities stated that the men had extended their trip by one additional day because of vehicle problems and were standing outside the residence while waiting for assistance when the shooting occurred.
The victims were identified as:
Robert Louis Kraft, 70, of Holland, Michigan
Douglas Joseph Kraft, 68, of Columbus, Ohio, the brother of Robert Kraft
James John Puchan, 69, of Ohio, a close friend of the brothers
All three men were pronounced dead at the scene.
Osceola County Sheriff Christopher Blackmon described the killings as “horrific,” “senseless,” “cold-blooded,” and “premeditated.”
He said investigators have found no prior relationship or known dispute between the victims and the suspect, adding that authorities believe the attack was a random act of violence.
Bojeh, who authorities said was living in a home next to the vacation rental, was taken into custody shortly after the shooting without incident.
According to the sheriff’s office, investigators recovered two firearms from Bojeh’s residence.
Bojeh has been charged with three counts of first-degree premeditated murder and was denied bond during his initial court appearance.
Sheriff Blackmon also confirmed that Bojeh was previously known to law enforcement, citing multiple prior calls for service at his residence and a history that authorities said had raised earlier concerns related to public safety.
Court records show that Bojeh was involved in a shooting incident in 2021 in which another person was injured.
At that time, he faced charges including attempted first-degree murder with a firearm and aggravated battery, but in 2022 he was found not guilty by reason of insanity and later released.
The investigation is ongoing.
Authorities have not announced a motive and stated that there is currently no evidence indicating a personal dispute between the suspect and the victims.
