Firefighters Battle Third-Alarm Commercial Fire in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, Firefighters responded to a third-alarm commercial structure fire at 3020 Northwest 16th Street after a working fire was reported at the location.

According to initial information from fire officials, the blaze began in pallets stored along the exterior Bravo side of the building and spread to the structure.

Because of the size of the fire and the potential threat to nearby buildings, a third alarm was requested, bringing additional firefighting units and resources to the scene.

Crews worked aggressively to contain the flames, prevent further spread, and protect surrounding properties.

Firefighters remained on scene for an extended period as suppression and overhaul operations continued.

Officials said there was no immediate information available regarding injuries or the extent of damage.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
