Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Early-Morning Crash in North St. Louis County

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, An adult male pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning in north St. Louis County, authorities confirmed.
The St. Louis County Police Department’s North County Precinct stated that officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at around 1:26 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, in the 9000 block of Lucas and Hunt Road.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found an adult male who had been struck by at least one vehicle while he was in the roadway.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.
Police said the driver involved in the crash remained at the location and is fully cooperating with investigators.
According to a preliminary investigation, the pedestrian was in the roadway at the time the collision occurred.
The crash remains under active investigation, and authorities said additional details will be provided as they become available.
