Mugshot Released of Christian Alexander Delgado in Wynter Wagoner Kidnapping Case
Authorities have released the mugshot of Christian Alexander Delgado, the man accused in the kidnapping case involving 13-year-old Wynter Wagoner, who disappeared from Rockcastle County, Kentucky, in mid-October.
According to investigators, Wynter Wagoner was reported missing on October 14, 2025, after she vanished from her foster home in Rockcastle County. Her disappearance prompted a multi-agency investigation that spanned several weeks.
Law enforcement officials later confirmed that Wynter was found safe Friday afternoon inside a residence in the 12000 block of Dalewood Drive in Silver Spring, Maryland, just outside Washington, D.C. Authorities said the Montgomery County Police Department, working in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service, responded to a tip shortly before 6 p.m.
Officers located Wynter inside the home along with Christian Alexander Delgado, 37. Delgado was taken into custody without incident, according to police. Investigators confirmed that Delgado was arrested on a kidnapping warrant that had been issued by Kentucky authorities.
Following her recovery, Wynter was transported to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation as a precautionary measure. Police have not released specific details about her condition but confirmed that she was located safely.
Delgado is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit in Maryland. Authorities stated that he is awaiting extradition to Kentucky, where he faces a kidnapping charge. Court records indicate that Delgado is being held on a $1 million bond.
Investigators have not yet disclosed how Wynter traveled from Kentucky to Maryland or how long she may have been inside the Silver Spring residence. Officials also said they have not confirmed any prior relationship between Delgado and Wynter.
Wynter’s family told local media that they do not know Delgado. Law enforcement officials emphasized that the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional details may be released as authorities continue to gather information.
Authorities are asking anyone with information related to the case to contact law enforcement as the investigation proceeds.
