Cleveland: 23-Year-Old Monte Baker Killed in Shooting at Medusa Restaurant & Lounge Downtown

Cleveland Police say 23-year-old Monte Baker was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning inside Medusa Restaurant and Lounge in downtown Cleveland.
CLEVELAND — According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers were dispatched to Medusa Restaurant and Lounge at about 2:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunfire inside the business. When they arrived, police found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.
Despite emergency response efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Monte Baker, 23.
Detectives with the Cleveland Police Homicide Unit are handling the investigation. Police said no suspects have been identified or arrested, and officials have not released details about what led up to the shooting or the specific location within the property where it happened.
