19-Year-Old Dies in Decatur Shooting, Investigation Underway

A tragic incident in Decatur on Wednesday night resulted in the death of a 19-year-old individual, according to local authorities.

Police responded to a report at a business in the 500 block of North Water Street around 5:42 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a young adult who had been shot. The individual was taken to the hospital but later passed away.
