Police Announce Second Arrest Connected to Tulsa Encampment Incident

Tulsa authorities have provided an update on an ongoing investigation involving an incident near a local encampment close to downtown. Officials say a second individual connected to the case has now been taken into custody, and the review continues.
According to police, two people were initially being sought after reports of a disturbance along the Katy Trail area earlier in the week. As of Thursday evening, both individuals have been located by law enforcement and are now in custody.
The most recent arrest involved 27-year-old MyQuiliah Favors, who was detained near Archer and Denver. Officials say he is currently being held at the Tulsa County Jail as the case proceeds through the legal process. A 17-year-old male had previously been taken into custody in connection with the same investigation.
The incident took place Tuesday night near the 1300 block of W. Katy Jogging Trail, where witnesses reported that two individuals approached a tented area and took personal belongings from a woman. Two men at the location were injured and transported to a hospital for medical care. Authorities have not released updates regarding their conditions.
Tulsa Police continue to gather information, review statements, and examine evidence as part of the ongoing inquiry. Additional details are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
