Corey McDaniel killed in Saginaw shooting

SAGINAW, MI — Authorities are looking into a homicide after a shooting took place in the 700 block of South Porter Street in Saginaw.

The incident unfolded late Wednesday, leading to a swift response from the Saginaw Police Department (SPD), Michigan State Police (MSP), and Mobile Medical Response (MMR).

When officers arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds.

The victim, who has been identified as Corey McDaniel, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
