Easley, South Carolina Mourns Jody Calin Mason: Missing Resident Discovered Deceased in Williamston
The Easley community in South Carolina is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jody Calin Mason, 36, who was found deceased in Williamston on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Authorities reported that Anderson County dispatch received a call around 9:50 a.m. regarding a deceased male discovered in the woods off CPR Way at Welcome Road. Preliminary findings indicate that on Tuesday night, Jody was driving a 2004 Toyota Sequoia along Welcome Road when he was involved in a crash.
It appears that he exited the vehicle and left the scene before the South Carolina Highway Patrol arrived. His family reported him missing on Friday morning, and he was later located deceased in the same area where the accident occurred.
Jody’s sudden passing has left his family, friends, and the Easley community deeply saddened. He is remembered for the life he lived, the love he shared, and the moments that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
