Tiffin authorities have shared updated information regarding a deeply tragic situation that occurred Wednesday evening on Huss Street. The incident has left the community grieving and supporting the affected family as officials continue their review.

According to the Tiffin Police Department, officers were called to the area around 6:24 p.m. after reports of a serious disturbance. When they arrived, multiple individuals were found injured, and emergency responders provided immediate aid.

Investigators stated that the situation unfolded while a mother and family friend, Dustin Willey, were gathering belongings from the home as part of an ongoing domestic matter. Authorities say that several family members, including two young children, were present at the residence during the incident.

Based on early findings, the events escalated rapidly outside the residence before emergency services arrived. Officials confirmed that several individuals lost their lives, including Dustin Willey and two children, while another adult male was also found deceased outside the home. The mother was physically unharmed but extremely distressed and cooperated with authorities at the scene.

Willey, who was taken to Mercy Hospital, later passed away due to his injuries. The children were transported for medical care, but both tragically did not survive. The other adult male involved in the incident was pronounced deceased at the location.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, along with the Seneca County Coroner’s Office, is assisting in the review. Autopsies and additional evaluations are underway, and authorities noted that no further identifying information regarding the children will be released due to privacy concerns.

In a public statement, the Tiffin Police Department acknowledged the profound impact of the tragedy on families, first responders, medical staff, school communities, and residents across the area. Grief support services are being coordinated to help those affected.

Officials stated that more updates will be provided when appropriate as the investigation continues under the direction of Chief David Pauly.
