West Salem, Ohio Community Grieves After Death of Heather Conley, 43

HEATHER CONLEY, With heavy hearts, the unexpected passing of Heather Nicole Conley of West Salem, Ohio, is being mourned after she died on January 17, 2026, at the age of 43, surrounded by her loving family. Her sudden loss has left a profound void in the lives of her husband, children, family, friends, students, and the many people whose lives she touched through her faith, work, and service.
Born on July 3, 1982, in Ashland to Duane and Janet Fulk, Heather was a remarkable woman whose intelligence, dedication, and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a graduate of Ashland High School and continued her education at Ashland University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Education, followed by a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her love of learning and teaching guided her career as a high school mathematics teacher, where she inspired countless students at OHDELA, Cuyahoga Falls, ECOT, Ohio Virtual Academy, and Mapleton High School. Heather’s passion for education extended beyond the classroom through her example of diligence, problem-solving, and service.
Heather’s life was rich with faith and community involvement. She was an active member of Grace Church in Wooster, where she volunteered with Grace Youth and participated in her Grace Group, living out her faith through service to others. She found her greatest joy in her family, wholeheartedly supporting her children—Jacob, Kate, Justin, and Quinn—in their activities, including sports, music, drama, and school events. Heather volunteered tirelessly with band boosters, sports boosters, football moms, and the Prom Committee, always placing the needs of her family and community above her own.
Heather shared a deep and devoted bond with her husband, Quinn, a love that was evident to all who knew them. Her commitment to her family was matched by her warmth, generosity, and joy for life. She also enjoyed reading, traveling, and writing, and was a published author, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and thoughtfulness.
Heather is survived by her husband, Quinn; her children; her parents, Duane and Janet Fulk; her brother, Bryan Fulk; her father-in-law, Dale Conley; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her uncle, Doyle Fulk. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, January 24, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Grace Church, 4599 Burbank Road, Wooster, with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Ashland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church in Wooster. Heather’s extraordinary life, her devotion to family, and her lasting impact on her students and community will be remembered forever.
